What do barking dogs, dark chocolate and wine have in common? There's a connection that you won’t want to miss hearing about.

The Medical Center's 2018 Lecture Series offers a rare opportunity to attend lectures by some of the best physicians in their fields. This season’s offering of five lectures covers a wide variety of topics including mental health, the medical use of marijuana, emerging infectious diseases, and even how to fix those aging eyelids. There's something for everyone!

Our lecturers come from renowned institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital, the University of Miami, San Francisco General Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic, and even the National Institutes of Health. Our first lecture, "Soothing that Barking Dog in our Brains," is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9, with lectures running every few weeks until April 10. For the full lecture schedule and other details, including summaries of past lectures, click here.

After each lecture you have an opportunity to meet and speak with the lecturing physician. Many attendees leave with new medical information that proves beneficial to themselves, a friend or a family member. What will you learn?
